Ski and Snowboard Packages Start at $99 With Junior Trade In Program

16 September 2013
Broomfield, Colorado, Sept 11, 2013—The single best deal for Colorado’s junior skiers and snowboarders in need of ski and snowboard equipment is the 30-year-old Junior Trade In program offered by all Colorado Ski & Golf locations (Aurora, Arvada, Littleton, Colorado Springs), Boulder Ski Deals and Colorado Ski & Sports in Park Meadows.  The budget-friendly program provides a full season of equipment on used equipment during the first year of participation for $99.99. All subsequent years, the price is 50 percent off—or $49.98 for as long as the child remains in the program. New gear is also an option starting at $199.99 for the first year with the net cost in subsequent years also 50 percent off--$99.99 per year. A mandatory binding check adds $15 each year.

Similar deals are available for youth snowboarders at $109.99 for used equipment and new equipment that includes a full snowboard setup with boots and deck start at $199.99. The 50 percent discount also goes into effect for snowboarders beginning with their second year of participation.

Another advantage of Junior Trade In is that ski and snowboard gear can be exchanged as often as needed during the season to make sure the size and fit remains comfortable—for free. Another option is for kids to keep their equipment for an additional season and return it for a 30 percent discount on updated gear after two seasons of usage. The annual offer remains in effect for as long as the child continues to rent through the Colorado Ski & Golf program.

“For kids to have a great day on the slopes, they need to be in properly fitted and sized equipment,” explains Randy Bush, Colorado Ski & Golf regional manager. “The incredible pricing we offer through Junior Trade In, allows parents to avoid the hassle and expense of daily rentals while having the confidence that their child is on equipment that is matched to their age, weight and ability for the entire season,” he adds.

Junior Trade In is currently measuring and fitting kids at all Colorado Ski & Golf locations, Boulder Ski Deals and Colorado Ski & Sports in Park Meadows. For the best selection, families are encouraged to get their children fitted before the holidays. For more information, go to
